Horror Movie

I feel I have to tell you that whenever I watch a movie and a couple kiss, I have to turn away.
Zombies with arms torn off, bloody violence, Fight Club - none of these raises my blood pressure one point. But that close-up of a big smooch with that swelling music ensures that I look away from the screen and imagine myself elsewhere.
Phew. That feels better.
Bottoms Up, Kissistas!

really?lol kinda funny. . .well point taken:)
hmm. i'm very curious wombat. what is it about a couple kissing that makes you turn away? i'm sniffing intimacy issues..
care to elaborate? :)
I wish I knew, LMA -> but I'm up for a make-out session with my sweetheart any time...the only problem being that I'm sans sweetie right now
I think I get embarrassed watching people on the big screen smooching. My reptile brain tells me that this is an intimate moment, and it's wrong to look.
Is that an intimacy issue, or a privacy issue taken too far?
hmmm, interesting wombat. i see where you're coming from. and for me, these kissing scenes usually feel more intimate than the sex scenes..
now that i think about it, i too turn away sometime, but only if i'm watching a scene like that and my dad is watching it with me :p
daddy issues. haha.
turn away *sometimes
That's the key word, LMA; intimacy.
You're right, sex scenes are often mechanical (which explains why I'm not affected by porn in the same way.) That kissing is closer to the heart is borne out by the Hooker Paradox - working girls will do anything EXCEPT kiss.
I think it's nice you watch movies with your dad :-)
